These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Jay's Lens website and any photography or videography services we provide. By using this site or booking a shoot with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Jay's Lens provides real estate, drone (FAA Part 107 licensed), engagement, event, and personal photography and videography services on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The exact deliverables, location, date, and price for each project are agreed in writing (email, text, or contract) before the shoot.

2. Booking & Payment

• A booking is confirmed once we acknowledge it in writing and any required deposit is received.
• Unless otherwise agreed, payment in full is due upon delivery of the finished photos or videos.
• Late payments may incur reasonable late fees and may delay file delivery.
• Pricing on the website is a starting point; final pricing is per quote.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellation

• You may reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge, subject to availability.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled shoot may be charged a fee equal to 50% of the booked amount.
• Jay's Lens may reschedule or cancel due to severe weather, equipment failure, illness, FAA airspace restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In that case we will make a good-faith effort to reschedule promptly, and any deposit will be applied to the new date or refunded.

4. Site Access & Safety

You are responsible for ensuring the property is access-ready, clean, and staged at the scheduled time, and for obtaining any required permission from owners, HOAs, or other parties. Jay's Lens reserves the right to decline to shoot any location or subject deemed unsafe, and to leave the site if conditions become unsafe.

5. Drone Operations

All drone flights are conducted in accordance with FAA Part 107 regulations and applicable state and local laws. Flights may be canceled or limited due to airspace restrictions, weather, or safety considerations. Jay's Lens is not liable for missed aerial coverage caused by such conditions but will reschedule when reasonably possible.

6. Delivery & Turnaround

Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours from the time of the shoot. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee. Final files are delivered through an online gallery or download link. You are responsible for downloading and backing up your files in a timely manner.

7. Copyright & License to Use Photos

• Jay's Lens retains the copyright to all photos and videos created.
• Real estate clients receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the delivered images and videos to market the specific property listing(s) for which they were created — including MLS, brokerage websites, social media, and print materials. Use of the images for purposes unrelated to that listing requires our written permission.
• Engagement, event, and personal-shoot clients receive a personal-use license for printing, sharing, and posting the delivered images. Commercial use requires a separate written agreement.
• Re-licensing, reselling, or transferring the images to a third party for their own use is not permitted without permission.
• Jay's Lens may use delivered images and videos for self-promotion (portfolio, social media, marketing) unless you have asked us in writing not to.

8. Editing & Revisions

All delivered images include our standard professional editing. We are happy to make reasonable adjustments shortly after delivery. Heavy retouching, virtual staging, or item removal may be quoted as an add-on. We do not release unedited "raw" files.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jay's Lens's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost commissions, or business interruption.

10. Website Use

All content on this website — including photos, videos, text, and design — is owned by Jay's Lens or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute website content without prior written consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mississippi.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use our site or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
